Nathan was the man who helped condemn all enhanced humans. His declaration to the nation caused world wide panic and fear.
He keeps his own abilities hidden from the world for fear of being turned on and become condemned himself.

After discovering her powers and just what was done to her Tracy didn't want to be an 'enhanced' human. Joining Nathan in his cause to cure those different from the rest of the world she, the two married shortly before Nathan was chosen to become the next president.
She also keeps her abilities hidden from the rest of the world.

Working for the CIA Dylan knows all about dark secretes. He joined the political race when he decided to do something about how his home was run. His discovery of the 'enhanced' humans came when President Petrelli told the world, then he discovered his now ex-wife Addy Collins and six year old son Freddy Collins~Devon are both 'enhanced' humans.
He has become Nathan's second in command despite the fact that he has no idea that the man he is working for is one of them.
Doctor Oliver Samuels// M

Dr Samuels followed Dr Chandra Suresh work on evolved humans and began his own research. He made his way to the white house where after years of study he was able to give President Petrelli all the proof he needed to know about the enhanced humans. However he was shocked by the world's reaction to the truth.

Standing against his brother was not what Peter wanted... he wanted to protect not only his family but others like them too. But sadly Nathan wouldn't listen and now Peter is considered a terriost and dangerous.
Protecting his niece, nephew and girlfriend is his main objective. No longer the hero Peter understands that time has come to choose sides.

It started with Claire... she had to be protected to save the world. Now she is hunted like the rest, she trusted her father to bring about the change that was meant to make the world better instead she saw her world crumble away and now she is forced to fight back for her life.
Standing beside her uncle she views her self as something she never wanted to become... the bad guy.

Paige came into her powers the same time of the Eclipse and has been hiding them. However it was an ex-boyfriend who contacted the hunters when she displayed her powers. On the run she was saved by Peter and Claire; shortly afterwards started dating Peter.
She is determined to set things straight so she can have a normal life once more.

Addy started life pretty normally, she grew up fell in love, got married and had a son. Of course she hid the fact that she had the ability to generate force fields from her husband.
But when her son started to show his own powers she knew it wouldn't be long before people asked questions. When Nathan declared the truth she was forced to put her son into hiding and go on the run. Peter and Claire helped save her, her son and her best friend and Addy promised to help.

Gabriel Grey once known as Sylar has come a long way since his killing days. After finding the mother and family he had been longing for things seemed to be going his way. After he and Elle found redemption with each other they were able to have a son Noah Grey. But after Nathan declaration to the world Gabriel's soon crumbled down... Elle was murdered and Gabriel was forced to hide himself and his baby son.
Now he offers help to his brother Peter when he can.

Unlike his father Nathan and half sister Claire, Simon isn't an enhanced human and it seems he prefers it this way as he has seen how his family has been ripped apart by the announcement.
Living with his mother Simon wishes to spend more time with his father but is fearful of what will happen if his uncle Peter and half sister Claire comes after his father something bad will happen.
Monty Petrelli//M

Monty like his brother is not enhanced but unlike his brother he wants to help the enhanced people. He doesn't want to be normal but knows his father will never listen to him.
Monty hasn't spoken more then five words to his father since he found out the truth and he is determined to help his uncles.
Lyle Bennet//M
Lyle Bennet discovered about enhanced people when he found his sister's test tapes. When the world found Lyle grew scared of what would happen to his sister and is now determined more then ever to help her after his father was killed and Claire refused to let him help in order to protect him.
